Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a laboratory assistant to perform phlebotomy, verify patient identities, draw blood from patients of all ages, label specimens, and enter correct patient information into the LIS.

The role requires meticulous attention to specimen integrity, adherence to safety standards for biohazardous materials, and excellent data-entry skills. Preferred is at least one year of phlebotomy experience and familiarity with multiple computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Preferred: at least one year of phlebotomy with patients of all ages.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and data entry.
• Familiarity with specimen collection, handling, and test requirements.
