Job summary

JumpStart Games, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Assistant with phlebotomy responsibilities to join our clinical operations team in Florida. You will verify patient identification, collect blood samples across all ages, and ensure specimen integrity for processing.

Summary / Objective

A laboratory assistant performing phlebotomy verifies patient identification, draws blood from patients of all ages maintaining specimen integrity, labels the drawn blood for processing, and enters correct patient information into the LIS.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma required.

Preferred Education and Experience: A minimum of one year experience as a phlebotomist to include phlebotomy performed on all ages and ability to adapt to multiple computer systems.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and data entry skills. Knowledge of specimen collection, specimen requirements, specimen integrity and specimen handling.
