Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Lab Tech 2 for a PRN variable shift in the Lake Pointe Rowlett, TX lab. The role requires completion of a phlebotomy training program and at least two years of hands-on experience across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, clerical checks, and performing routine laboratory tasks. Candidates should be able to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a phlebotomy training program.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimens and perform clerical checks.
• Set up specimens, materials, and equipment for tests.
• Operate laboratory equipment as assigned and maintain inventory.
• Maintain effective communication with laboratory personnel and external customers.
• Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.
