Adventist Health Hanford is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy Technician to collect blood specimens and process them through the laboratory workflow. You will handle patient registration tasks, ensure specimen integrity, and support pre-analytic and analytic processes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include CA-specific education (high school or GED) and a CPTI license, with CPT or CPTII certification also required at the facility.

Qualificações

• Phlebotomy experience in acute care environment is preferred.
• High School/GED is required in CA; other states may differ.
• Associate/Technical degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood specimens for lab tests using age-appropriate techniques.
• Receive, sort, and accessions specimens for pre-analytic and analytic workflows.
• Complete computer tasks for patient registration and test order entry in the lab system.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport to Adventist Health or outside labs.
• Maintain inventory and complete documentation of pre- and post-analytic work.
• Communicate test results and handle inquiries from callers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
