Job summary

Adventist Health Hanford is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to collect blood specimens and support laboratory workflow in a hospital setting. You will handle specimens from collection to processing and assist with post-analytic duties under standard procedures.

The role requires a CA-high school diploma or GED, CPT license, and preferred Associate's/technical degree with experience in acute care phlebotomy. On-site position with a patient-focused team in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required in CA; preferred in OR and HI
• Associate’s/Technical degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred
• Experience in Phlebotomy in acute care environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques and transport to the lab
• Receive, accession, and route specimens to the appropriate workflow
• Perform basic post-analytic tasks, including reporting results and maintaining records
• Maintain inventory and ensure a clean, safe work area and equipment
