Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform routine specimen collection, registration and billing tasks in the clinical laboratory. You will venipuncture, receive specimens and distribute them to the proper labs, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The position requires one year of lab experience or completion of a phlebotomy training program; basic LIS familiarity; and relevant certifications where required by state law.

Qualifications

• One year of laboratory experience or completion of phlebotomy training.
• Basic LIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and bill specimens.
