Job summary

UR Medicine's Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a part-time CNA for on-site Per Diem day shifts. The role includes assisting the main testing lab, phlebotomy, EKGs, and patient care with emphasis on CARES values.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $20.48 to $25.00 based on experience, free onsite parking, and access to wellness programs. Weekend work is required two weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy exp. and proficiency preferred.
• Draw station and specimen processing exp. highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently; maintain a compliant and efficient site.
• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy and specimen handling for lab testing.
• Register patients, order lab work, and process specimens.
• Perform independent EKG testing and maintain patient rapport.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional behavior.
