Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training with externship completed.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and processes venous and capillary blood samples for laboratory analysis from patients of all ages.
• Processes clinical specimens for delivery to laboratory departments and reference laboratories as applicable.
• Performs duties within assigned work blocks.
• Follows safety, infection control and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Assists in preventative maintenance and disinfection within the Specimen Processing area.
• Travels to off-site locations for phlebotomy collections (Concord Site only).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
