Job summary

Emanate Health seeks a professional phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures on adults and pediatrics, process specimens, and support client communication to resolve issues promptly. Requirements include a California CPT certificate, BLS, and strong English communication.

Prior hospital lab experience and accurate data entry are preferred. We offer a supportive environment in which patient care comes first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and medical/laboratory terminology required.
• Two year acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred.
• 1–2 years experience assisting in performing laboratory assays preferred.
• Ability to operate computer input terminal.
• Typing and word processing skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Communication skills to include fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipunctures on adults and pediatrics and micro collections on infants.
• Participates in data entry, specimen processing and communicates with clients to help resolve specimen concerns as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
