Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to provide leadership oversight for the Phlebotomy department within the clinical laboratory. Duties may span multiple departments and locations, coordinating with the Medical Director and leadership to modify test procedures and policies while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role participates in department budgeting and service goals, supporting the overall operation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related science field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of technical experience with at least two years in a leadership role.
• National Certification (ASCP) or equivalent in related oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership oversight for the Phlebotomy department across multiple shifts and locations.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership to implement test procedures and policies.
• Assist the Manager in planning and adherence to departmental budgets.
