Qualifications

• H.S. graduate.
• 6 months related work experience desired.
• HeartSaver/BLS; phlebotomy training preferred; national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification using two identifiers (name and date of birth).
• Always verify outpatient order accuracy and collect specimens.
• Register patients and update demographic information; ensure order forms are complete.
• Utilize LIS for result queries, label printing, and order entry.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies and report safety concerns.
