Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Medical Technology or related Science (required).
• 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting (required).
• 3 years phlebotomy experience (required).
• Phlebotomy Certification (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Hires and assist with onboarding top talent to create a work environment of diversity, professional growth, and continuous development.
• Evaluates the competency of testing personnel and ensures staff maintain competency to perform test procedures and report results promptly, accurately and proficiently.
• Ensures patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properly.
• Participates in committees, task forces, and improvement teams as defined.
• Ensures all changes within the laboratory are validated before implementation.
• Other duties as assigned.
