Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support multiple laboratory departments by assisting technical staff with collection, processing, analysis and reporting of tests.
• Perform venipunctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks appropriate to patient age and ensure proper specimen collection.
• Register and log specimens in LIS and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
• Operate LIS to support data entry and workflow management; restock supplies and participate in quality/safety standards.
• Contribute to lab operations and may participate in department or hospital committees and projects.
