Job summary

Arbor Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to provide field service coverage across assigned areas.

You will collect specimens from patients, ensure specimen integrity, and document data accurately in LAB information systems, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include adhering to procedures, labeling samples correctly, and preparing shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
• 2 years of full-time phlebotomy experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment.
• Physical ability to lift 15 pounds; frequent standing, walking.

Responsibilities

• Follows laboratory procedures for specimen collection and handling.
• Retrieves blood from patients and provides excellent customer service.
• Enters patient data into an electronic lab information system or manually.
• Identifies patient data and labels specimens accurately.
• Packs and prepares samples for shipment and/or transport.
• Communicates efficiently and timely with leadership to address and report issues.
• Has availability for approximately 10% travel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
