Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical phlebotomy program or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• One year of venipuncture/ECG testing experience preferred.
• Computer literacy required.
• Familiarity with EMR and lab information systems (Epic and Cerner preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a team.

Aufgaben

• Perform venipuncture/capillary and ECG testing.
• Process specimen collection and prepare for transport to external processing facility.
• Utilize EMR and LIS to audit pending/cancelled tests and communicate results to care teams.
• Escalate issues to leadership.
• Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Adhere to SOPs for biohazardous materials and sharps.
• Stock and monitor lab supplies; notify management of shortages.
• Perform ECG exams per physician orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
