Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collect specimens for screening tests and record results.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and departmental procedures.
• Perform clerical tasks in the testing area.
• Assist with equipment and supply maintenance.
• Obtain electrocardiograms.
• Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings.
