Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Phlebotomist for an onsite contract role in Linthicum Heights, MD. You will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate patient data updates in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of pediatrics/geriatrics experience and a phlebotomy certification is preferred. The position offers $25.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with pediatrics and geriatrics in hospital, clinic, or lab.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge as needed.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
