Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking Part‑Time Faculty to teach clinical laboratory courses in the Department of CLS. Opportunities exist for in-person, online, or hybrid teaching across 100‑ to 400‑level courses. Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome to join a pool for future vacancies.

Qualified instructors may teach CLS courses such as Phlebotomy and Clinical Practicum. TMCC offers orientation, professional development, and a benefits package for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• You must be a licensed medical professional (M.A., Doctor, Nurse, or Phlebotomist) to qualify as an instructor.
• The desire to work with students, faculty and staff from many backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content under supervision of the Department Chair.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Stay current in your teaching field.
• Refer students to campus resources as needed.
• Complete professional development activities.
• Use current technology in instruction.
• Maintain ethical standards and professional conduct.
