Job summary

Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City seeks a part-time Phlebotomy Instructor for the MCC Phlebotomy Program. You will prepare students to become phlebotomy technicians, collect and transport specimens, and align instruction with ASCP national certifications.

Qualifications include current Phlebotomy or Clinical Laboratory Certification, or 60 college credit hours; equivalent teaching experience also acceptable.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Certification or Clinical Laboratory Certification.
• 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with minimum 30 credits and 3 years of teaching experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach phlebotomy curriculum aligned with ASCP national certifications.
• Prepare course materials, meet with students, and enter grades.
• Maintain updated credentials as required by accrediting agencies.
