Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct flow of patients for services.
• Assist physician, practitioner, and nurses.
• Assist with screenings and provide education and support.
• Prepare and stock rooms; maintain clinical areas and equipment.
• Promptly communicate patient needs to nurse or provider.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection following procedures.
• Verify orders, specimens, labels and requisitions for accuracy.
• Process, store, and package specimens according to lab requirements.
• Coordinate shipments; complete final specimen checks.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment and logs.
• Support appointment scheduling, referrals and follow-up actions.
