Job summary

The American Red Cross in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking individuals to join our team as a phlebotomy-trained donor services associate. You'll leverage healthcare and customer service skills to support every step of the blood collection process, transport equipment, and welcome donors while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
A current, valid driver’s license with good driving record is required.
Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long irregular hours.

Responsibilities

Take time to personally connect with donors and explain the impact of donation.
Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
Be detail-oriented to ensure blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setup/teardown at donation sites.
