Job summary

The American Red Cross in Cincinnati, OH is seeking Blood Collection Staff focused on customer service to support lifesaving blood donations. You will engage donors, assist with equipment setup at collection sites, and ensure a welcoming environment while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required.

Responsibilities

• Personally connect with donors and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure collected blood meets regulatory and safety standards.
• Assist with setup/teardown of equipment and possibly drive Red Cross vehicles.
