Job summary

Hillsdale Medical Associates in Hillsdale, MI is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for a full-time role. You will collect blood samples by venipuncture and skin puncture, label specimens, and ensure patient safety while maintaining lab procedures.

This position includes some weekend and holiday hours on rotation, a Saturday premium, PTO, a 403(b) with match, and onsite education opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program is preferred but not required.
• ASCP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood samples by venipuncture and skin puncture using proper techniques.
• Label specimens correctly and ensure quality and patient safety.
• Perform receptionist duties at the outpatient lab front desk.
• Maintain laboratory operating procedures and notify when supplies are low.
• Transport specimens if not picked up by courier and reimbursement for mileage if needed.
