Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of applicable experience in a laboratory setting including phlebotomy and EKG.
• Nationally recognized certification such as ASCP or NCA equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow physician orders in the Laboratory system.
• Independently obtain venous blood specimens and correctly identify patients.
• Receive and triage specimens; prepare and store as required.
• Perform EKGs on outpatients.
• Maintain competencies and assist with training.
