Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Toppenish, WA. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and customer service, with opportunities to work in Patient Service Centers or client offices.

Qualified candidates will hold a Washington State Phlebotomy License and have 3+ months of phlebotomy experience; Labcorp experience is preferred. The position operates Monday–Friday 12:00PM–8:30PM, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Toppenish, WA.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:00PM - 8:30PM; additional hours and rotating Saturday's

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more months of phlebotomy experience
• 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Valid Driver's License
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program

PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $19.25 - $27.69 per hour
