Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Yakima, WA. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm with potential overtime and rotating Saturdays. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens, enter data, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a valid Washington phlebotomy license; 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred and 6+ months Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid WA phlebotomy license.
• 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
