Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA. You will perform blood collections and prepare specimens for testing, while delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a WA Phlebotomy license (MA-P) and at least six months of phlebotomy experience. Schedule is Mon-Fri, with potential overtime, and benefits are included for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
• 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
