Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Salem, OR. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens for various tests, and maintain accurate patient data in a patient service center or client setting.

Strong customer service and data entry skills are essential, with potential for travel to additional sites. The role may require overtime and weekend hours as needed, in alignment with Labcorp standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• 6+ months of Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complex testing per CLIA.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
