Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Phlebotomist to obtain patient specimens and assist in laboratory preparation and clerical duties. This role operates on straight night shifts from 9pm to 7am, 64 hours biweekly, under direct supervision in a highly automated core lab.

The position offers an hourly wage range of $17.31–$23.10 with a $3.55 night shift differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, 401k, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree from a Phlebotomy program with internship under a pathologist or health-related education.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment such as centrifuge, microscope and lab computer systems.
• Satisfactory completion of on-the-job training and orientation.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and initiative.

The purpose of the phlebotomist position is to obtain specimens from patients of all ages with care and concern for patient’s welfare and safety. The Phlebotomist will assist the laboratory in preparing specimens for analysis and perform various clerical duties of the laboratory under direct supervision.Department DescriptionCome join our exciting Laboratory department! We are looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals to join our team!Hours/Shifts64 hours biweekly, straight night shifts from 9pm-7am, Wednesday to Wednesday, with a seven day on and seven day off schedule.CompensationHourly Wage Range: $17.31 - $23.10 with a $3.55 shift differential when working straight night shifts.
