Job summary

IVIRMA in Boston IVF Springfield is seeking a Phlebotomist for a full-time morning schedule. You will perform patient phlebotomy, process specimens, and ensure timely results while maintaining a clean, compliant lab environment.

Two years of experience is preferred, certification optional. A strong focus on patient service and accuracy will be essential in this role located at our Springfield facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
• Certification is preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Process samples to send to reference labs.
• Responsible for pending results.
• Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals.
• Adhere to Safety Procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies.
• Flu vaccination required.

Title: Phlebotomist – Full Time

Location: Boston IVF Springfield

Salary Range: $23.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Schedule: 5 mornings per week 6:30am-12:30pm and alternating Saturdays 6:30am-10:30am

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy and specimen processing
• Process samples to send to reference labs
• Responsible for pending results
• Adhere to phlebotomy procedures and lab services manuals
• Adhere to requirements of Safety Procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of drawing area and stock supplies in phlebotomy lab
• Flu vaccination required

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ Experience
• Certification is preferred but not a requirement
• Technical expertise along with good customer service is very important
• Attention to detail a must
