Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Specimen Collector Phlebotomist at our Indianapolis, IN location. You will collect blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens, prepare and ship samples, and act as a liaison between clinics and our laboratory while ensuring patient care and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is a certified phlebotomist with 1+ year field experience (or equivalent). Strong customer service skills, reliable transportation, and ability to use smartphones and computers are required.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year field experience (experience can substitute for certificate).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with patients and clinicians.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine, and oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between clinics and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies at onsite location.
• Observe collection procedures and ensure compliance with protocols.
