Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with 1+ year in field.
• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field, directly supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient blood, urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as an intermediary between practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
