Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float PRN to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This PRN position requires blood collection, specimen handling, and patient service across multiple sites including Patient Service Centers or Client offices.

The role offers a pay range of $18.29 to $28.49 per hour with an additional $1.00/hr Float Incentive and mileage reimbursement, along with quarterly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
