Job summary

Labcorp in Centennial, CO is seeking a Float Phlebotomist - PRN to support medical clinics. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and occasional billing tasks across Denver Metro and surrounding areas.

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training is preferred. Travel to multiple sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist - PRN to join our team for coverage of Medical Clinics in Centennial, CO. 80122 & surrounding areas.

Work Schedule: Work schedule is PRN hours during business hours based on business needs. Business Hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 6:00pm, position includes rotational Saturday hours.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program 3 or more months of Phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Coverage for Denver Metro & surrounding areas
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
