Job summary

Labcorp in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Phlebotomist Float PRN to perform blood collections across age groups and ensure accurate data entry and specimen handling. The role emphasizes delivering excellent patient service in a PRN, on-site setting with travel to additional sites as needed.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, Phlebotomy certification or training, and 1+ year of phlebotomist experience. A dynamic, customer-focused teammate will join Labcorp’s clinical team.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1+ year of phlebotomist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
