Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float PRN to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. 81504 and surrounding areas. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling and customer service in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; preferred candidates have a phlebotomy certification or training and 1+ year experience. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and color vision test clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• Ability to pass a color vision test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
