Job summary

You will verify patient records, enter data, and ensure sample integrity with proper labeling and barcodes. The role requires phlebotomy certification and 2+ years in a lab setting.

Location is full-time at 623 S Houston Lake Rd, with standard day shift hours. Compensation ranges and benefits are provided, including PTO, holidays, and healthcare options.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy technician credential required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of labeling and specimen handling procedures.
• Ability to locate tests and interpret basic order details.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and capillary puncture for the Coumadin clinic.
• Identifies patients following protocol.
• Prepares samples with correct labeling and barcodes.
• Reconciles daily outstanding sample reports.
• Observes safety procedures and sample preparation.
• Supports and guides day-to-day activities.
• Handles Copia orders and identifies duplicates.
• Delivers courteous service to staff and patients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
