Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity.
• Draw and collect blood samples; prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Send specimens to reference labs for tests not done in-house.
• Maintain documentation (logs, records, checklists).
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor.
