The ideal candidate will have a phlebotomy certification and a strong ability to prioritize tasks, with experience using Cerner EHR preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of certified phlebotomy program preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately within established turn-around times.
• Recognizes abnormal situations and investigates prior to delivering specimens.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory promptly and safely.
• Answers phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains specimen integrity and proper documentation for medical necessity.
• Follows safety standards and participates in continuing education programs.
