Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture, label specimens accurately, and support laboratory operations in a fast-paced clinical setting in Los Angeles.

You will review requisitions, ensure specimen integrity, manage supplies, and perform clerical tasks including data entry and reporting. Strong communication and empathy are essential to provide excellent patient care and maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold California Certification as Phlebotomy Technician.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrates customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Fire and Life Safety Card required (Los Angeles City Employees only).

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and label specimens accurately as requisitioned.
• Review lab requisitions and ensure specimen integrity for processing.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and clerical duties (data entry, records, reports).
• Provide empathetic, professional communication with patients and staff; answer phones and relay information as needed.
