Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required where applicable).
• Experience in venipuncture and donor care desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to SOPs and safety.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process and policies.
• Greet donors and introduce the donation process.
• Perform venipuncture following SOPs and manage collection volumes.
• Monitor donor well-being and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and ensure readiness for operations.
• Set up plasma donation machines and respond to alarms.
• Collect and label test samples, including NAT testing.
• Keep donor floor stocked with supplies.
• Record donor data and incidents in the donor information system.
• Respond to donor complaints and deferrals professionally.
• Support donor flow and communicate bottlenecks to management.
• Prepare center for audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality.
