Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process patient specimens using venipuncture, heel and finger stick techniques. You will support lab operations, maintain a clean work area, and may mentor students in phlebotomy per AHN policies. Off-site collections could be required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and completed phlebotomy training; six months’ experience is preferred. A valid driver's license may be required by location.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes patient specimens according to policies and timeframes (on/off site).
• Maintains cleanliness and supplies for efficient operations.
