Job summary

MultiCare Covington Medical Center is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist-Patient Services Representative to support our Lab Services. You will handle patient registration, order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing, with occasional specimen pickup in offices.

The role requires a high school diploma, Medical Assistant-Certified or MA-Phlebotomy certification, or eligibility, and phlebotomy training. Prior phlebotomy and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous experience dealing with the public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Specimen pickup in offices and report sorting/delivery as needed.
• Supply delivery and other location-specific tasks.
