Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center is hiring a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support Lab Services. You will handle patient registration, order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing at the Auburn campus in Washington.

The ideal candidate has high school completion, MA certification or phlebotomy credentials, and phlebotomy experience, with strong customer service skills. The role requires availability 3 days per week with some weekend shifts and varying shift lengths.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible; must complete training within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous experience dealing with the public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and enter orders for lab services.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• May pick up specimens from offices and sort/deliver reports.
• Assist with supply delivery and related lab operations.
• Work at the Auburn Medical Center location in WA.

FTE: 0.001_, Shift: Days_, Schedule: The ideal candidate will be available to work 3 days per week with every other weekend availability. The shift length will vary from 8-10 hours per shift.

Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare to support our Lab Services. In this role, you will be responsible for patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. You may also be responsible for specimen pick-up in offices, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery, and other tasks related to the operation of the specific location.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.40 - $37.14 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
