Job summary

Labcorp in Neenah, WI is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, and enter patient data accurately.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a phlebotomy certification or accredited training is preferred. Strong customer service and clear communication are essential, with the option to travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
• 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
