Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fenton, Missouri. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages and maintain accurate patient data while delivering friendly, professional service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of outpatient lab experience is preferred. Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, travel to additional sites as needed, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
