Job summary

Labcorp in Austin, TX is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient service center. You will perform skilled blood collections, handle specimens for various tests, and support a high-volume environment with a focus on exceptional customer service.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, may have LabCorp experience, and hold a phlebotomy certification. Overtime may be required, with quarterly incentive bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
