Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1117 E Division St, Mount Vernon, WA 98274. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:15am - 5:00pm, rotating weekends. Responsibilities include venipuncture collections, specimen handling, data entry, and billing support.

Minimum qualifications include a Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P) and strong customer service with the ability to work in a team or independently. Overtime may be required; color blindness testing is required.

Qualifications

• Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P) required.
• Preferred: 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Must pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
