Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 2101 NE 139th Ave, Vancouver WA 98661. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records with strong customer service.

The role requires a Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P) and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P).
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program (preferred).
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
