Job summary

Labcorp (PAML) in Renton, WA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all age groups, collecting specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and billing when needed.

The position requires a WA phlebotomy license and 6+ months of experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license or license application in progress at hire
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a color vision test
• Overtime flexibility as needed
• Able to provide exceptional customer service and work well independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs and records
• Provide superior customer service to patients and colleagues
• Travel to additional sites as needed
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
